Home care in Cardiff

Looking for care at home for someone you love?

Tell us what matters to you. HealthHire considers the services, locations and availability of participating care providers to help find one that suits your needs.

HealthHire introduces families to providers. The provider carries out the care assessment, agrees the price and delivers the care.

How we help you find a match

1

Tell us the basics

Share where care is needed, the kind of support you are looking for and when you would like it to start.

2

We consider the fit

We look at your request alongside participating providers' services and coverage, then ask permission before making an introduction.

3

The provider takes over

The provider contacts you, assesses care needs and explains its availability and price. You decide whether to go ahead.

Ask about home care

Whether you are arranging support for yourself or a family member, you can start with a short conversation. You do not need to know exactly how many care visits are required.

Speak with HealthHire

Call or WhatsApp 07400 895948. To start, tell us the area where care is needed and the broad type of support you are looking for. Please do not send medical records or detailed diagnoses in your first message.

There is no charge to families. HealthHire may receive a fee from a care provider if care starts. This is not an emergency service.

Privacy notice

HealthHire is operated by Puissant Care Ltd, 19 Chwe Erw, Radyr, Cardiff CF15 8HL. You can contact us about this notice or your information on 07400 895948.

What we use and why

If you call or message us, we use your name, contact details, approximate care location, broad support request and relevant messages to respond, consider a suitable introduction and keep a record of what we agreed. Please share only what is necessary. A care request may reveal sensitive health information, even if you do not give us a diagnosis.

Sharing with a provider

We will name the proposed provider and ask for your permission before sharing identifiable care information or contact details with it. Where you are enquiring for someone else, we may need to speak with the person who needs care or their authorised representative first. The provider will give its own privacy information and is responsible for its assessment and care services. We do not use your enquiry to send unrelated marketing.

Lawful use and retention

We use contact and enquiry details to answer your request and manage introductions. Our lawful basis for ordinary personal data is our legitimate interest in running the introduction service you asked us about. We ask for your explicit consent before recording and sharing health information for an introduction. We aim to delete enquiries that do not progress after 12 months. We retain introduction, fee and dispute records for up to six years where needed for accounting or legal claims, then securely delete them. We do not publish your personal information.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct your information, object to certain uses, or ask us to delete it where applicable. You can withdraw consent for future processing of health information by calling us. Withdrawal cannot undo a disclosure already made to a provider; contact that provider about its records. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
